The worst way to lose a match is to miss it. Braket is built so that never has to happen. Between following the things you care about, installing the site as a phone app, and turning on push notifications, the important moments come find you.

Following tournaments and players

Anywhere you see a tournament or a player, you can follow them with a single button. It is a bell you toggle on.

Follow a tournament to keep tabs on one you care about, whether you are competing in it or just want to watch it unfold. Casters and fans follow tournaments to plan their coverage; competitors follow the ones their friends are in.

Follow a player from their profile to keep an eye on a rival, a friend, or someone whose games are just fun to watch.

Following is the subscription that powers your alerts. It tells Braket which corners of the arena you want to be pulled back to, so the notifications you get are the ones you actually asked for.

Braket on your phone: the PWA

Braket is a progressive web app, which is a technical way of saying you can install it to your phone's home screen and use it like a native app, no app store required.

On your phone's browser, open your arena and use the "add to home screen" option. Braket installs with its own icon, launches full-screen without browser clutter, and behaves like any other app on your device. It carries the arena's own name and colors, so it feels like the game's app, not a generic website. This is the recommended way to experience Braket on mobile, because it is the setup that makes the next part shine.

Match-ready push notifications

Here is the feature that changes how you play. With the PWA installed and notifications enabled, Braket can push alerts straight to your phone. You turn this on from a card on your My matches page: one tap to allow notifications, and you are wired in. The moment you enable it, Braket sends a welcome push right away — so you see, on the spot, that your phone and the arena are talking. If the welcome ping lands, everything else will.

The alerts are chosen to be the ones that genuinely matter, never noise.

Your match is LIVE. The big one. The instant your opponent readies up and the match goes live, your phone buzzes. You can be anywhere in the house; you feel the ping, you walk to your PC, and you are in the game with time to spare. This is the killer moment the whole mobile experience was built around: get the alert on the phone, launch on the PC.

Your opponent is ready. When your opponent readies up first and is waiting on you, Braket nudges you so you know to get to your keyboard. No more silent standoffs where both of you are waiting and neither knows.

A followed match is about to start. If you follow a tournament, Braket can give you a lead-time heads up (around half an hour out) before a match in it begins, so casters and fans can be in their seat before the first move.

A followed player just went LIVE on Twitch. If you follow a player who has linked their Twitch and they start streaming, you get pinged so you can go watch. Never miss your favorite competitor's run.

Every one of these is opt-in. You choose to follow, you choose to enable push, and you can turn any of it off. Braket would rather send you three notifications you are glad to get than thirty you learn to ignore.

Following plus notifications, together

The two systems work as one. Following declares what you care about; notifications deliver it. Follow the tournaments your crew is in and the players whose games you love, install the app, flip on push, and Braket becomes ambient: you stop checking the site to see if it is your turn, because the site checks in with you. That is the point. Your attention is yours; Braket only interrupts it for the handful of moments worth interrupting for.
