Welcome to Braket

You found the arena. Pull up a chair.

Braket is a Steam-native tournament platform. That plain sentence hides something you will feel the first time you play: from the moment you sign in, Braket already knows who you are, because it borrows your identity straight from Steam. No new username to invent, no password to memorize, no profile to fill out. Your persona name and avatar walk in the door with you, and within about ten seconds you can be registered for a live tournament.

This is the guide to everything you can do here. It is long on purpose, because Braket does a lot, but you never have to read it front to back. Each page stands on its own. Skim the ones that sound useful, bookmark the rest, and come back when you are ready to add clans or chase a season ladder.

What Braket is, in one breath

Braket runs competitive tournaments for the games you love. A studio sets up an arena for their game, you sign in with Steam, you register, you play your matches inside scheduled windows, you report who won, and the bracket carries the winners forward until someone lifts a trophy. That trophy is not just a graphic on a web page: podium finishers earn a real, Steam-visible trophy tied to your Steam identity.

That is the core loop, and if that were all Braket did, it would still be worth your time. But it is not all Braket does.

The arc, from sign-in to a career

Here is the journey this documentation walks you through, roughly in the order you will live it.

You sign in with Steam (page 2). You browse tournaments and register for one that fits your schedule (page 3). If it is a team game, you form or join a squad by tag (page 4). When your match window opens, you ready up, the match goes LIVE, and you launch the game (page 5). Afterward you report the winner, and if you and your opponent agree, the result confirms itself (page 6).

Play enough matches and something starts to accumulate. Your public profile fills in with a win-loss record, a win rate, a streak, and a table of your fiercest rivals (page 7). You climb the season ladder, and if you reach the podium you collect real Steam trophies (page 8). Along the way you chat in the lobby and per-tournament channels, and you add opponents as Steam friends (page 9). You follow the tournaments and players you care about, install Braket to your phone as an app, and get a push the instant your match goes LIVE (page 10).

Then the platform opens up beyond any single game. Braket Premium gives you convenience perks that never touch competitive balance (page 11). Clans let you build a crew that travels across every game on the network (page 12). Season passes buy you guaranteed entry for a whole season (page 13). And if you opt in, your network profile makes you visible across all of Braket, feeds a cross-game ladder, and qualifies you for the Braket All-Stars, a cross-game championship (page 14).

That last stretch is the point of the whole thing. Braket is not trying to be one more single-game bracket site you forget between tournaments. It wants your wins to add up into something that follows you from game to game: an identity, a crew, a rank, a career.

A promise worth stating early

Everything you can pay for on Braket is access or convenience or cosmetics. None of it buys you a competitive edge. There are no paid seeds, no paid byes, no in-match advantages for sale, ever. When you win here, you win because you were better. Hold us to that.
