Why Braket exists

We are game builders. Across years of shipping games we kept hitting the same wall: competitive features, tournaments, ladders, seasons, verified results, are a full platform project that few studios can spare a quarter to build. The tools that do exist were made for a handful of AAA titles, or ignore Steam entirely.

We built Herd, a 1v1 musical card battler, and needed exactly that platform for it. So we made it: Steam native, verified results, trophies and ladders, live in an afternoon.

Then it was obvious the gap was industry wide. There is no integrated competitive solution on Steam for non AAA titles, so we opened ours to everyone. That is Braket: your game's own tournament home, and a network your players travel across.

Why we built this

Competitive play extends a game's life, but nobody can afford to build it

Tournaments, ladders and seasons measurably extend a game's tail. Building them is a platform project, auth, brackets, scheduling, disputes, rewards, ops. A small studio can't spare a quarter for it, so most ship nothing, or bolt on Discord and spreadsheets that never feel like part of the game.

Existing platforms weren't made for your game

Player-first destinations serve a handful of AAA titles. Generic bracket tools ignore Steam. Esports suites are priced for publishers. Nobody sells your game its own tournament home, that's exactly what Braket is: Steam-native, in your brand, live in an afternoon.

Players are the point

Every arena makes its players first-class: profiles, stats, seasons, and trophies that live on Steam. Communities keep competing between updates, streamers get something to cast, and your launch-day players are still around for season five.
